Gölcük Anatolian Vocational and Technical High School has 1100 students (868 formal, 232 non-formal), 127 teachers, and 10 administrative staff. The school features 30 classrooms and specialized laboratories for Information Technologies, Electric-Electronic Technologies, Marine Engineering and Transportation Management, Shipbuilding, Metal Technologies, Machine Technologies, and Furniture and Interior Design.
The institution offers vocational distance education, private sector training as a UME center, and Net proficiency training through the CISCO Networking Academy. It excels in educational software development, releasing open-source simulation software in electrical electronics and ship machinery.
Collaborations include Kocaeli University’s Faculty of Maritime Studies, the MESS Education Foundation, and FORD OTOSAN A.Ş for marine applications, educational initiatives, and teacher training. It is the only school in the region offering Shipbuilding programs, with many students interning at local shipyards. Graduates receive a Europass certificate.
Gölcük Anatolian Vocational and Technical High School holds the 2019 Erasmus+ Vocational Education Student and Personal Mobility Accreditation certificate, meeting EU quality standards in education and youth programs.
